This Account Deletion Policy (“Policy”) governs the deletion, deactivation, and retention of accounts on the Sylonow platform (“Platform”) operated by Sylonow Vision Private Limited (“Company”, “We”, “Us”, or “Our”).

1. Scope

This Policy applies to:

  • End Users (“Users”)
  • Service Providers / Vendors (“Vendors”)

2. User Account Deletion

2.1 Request for Deletion

Users may request account deletion by:

  • Using the in-app delete option
  • Submitting a request via registered mobile/email

2.2 Processing Time

  • Requests shall be processed within a reasonable time frame (typically 7-15 business days)

2.3 Effect of Deletion

Upon deletion:

  • User account access will be permanently revoked
  • Profile data will be deleted or anonymized
  • Active bookings (if any) may still remain enforceable

2.4 Data Retention (Important)

The Company may retain certain data even after deletion for:

  • Legal compliance
  • Fraud prevention
  • Dispute resolution
  • Financial and transaction records

Such retained data will not be used for active marketing.

3. Vendor Account Deletion

3.1 Vendor-Initiated Deletion

Vendors may request account deletion subject to:

  • No pending dues
  • No active disputes
  • Completion of ongoing service obligations

3.2 Company Rights

The Company reserves the right to:

  • Reject or delay deletion requests
  • Suspend instead of delete
  • Retain vendor data for compliance and operational reasons

3.3 Financial Obligations

Even after deletion:

  • Outstanding commissions remain payable
  • Subscription fees remain non-refundable
  • Revenue obligations survive termination

3.4 Data Retention

Vendor data may be retained for:

  • Accounting and tax purposes
  • Legal compliance
  • Fraud detection
  • Business analytics

4. Automatic Account Deletion / Suspension

The Company may suspend or delete accounts:

  • For violation of Terms or Policies
  • Fraudulent or suspicious activity
  • Misuse of platform
  • Non-payment of dues (vendors)

Such action may be taken without prior notice.

5. Limitation of Deletion

Account deletion does NOT guarantee:

  • Complete removal of all historical data
  • Removal of anonymized or aggregated data
  • Removal of publicly shared content already indexed

6. Irreversibility

Once deletion is completed:

  • The account cannot be restored
  • Data may not be recoverable

7. Third-Party Data

The Company is not responsible for:

  • Data shared with vendors/users prior to deletion
  • Data retained by third-party services

8. User Responsibility

Users and Vendors are responsible for:

  • Downloading required data before deletion
  • Clearing pending transactions

9. GDPR & Data Rights

Users may request:

Requests will be processed subject to legal and operational limitations.
